Squeaky Coffee, a new brand from Thailand, made a splash at the SCA Expo in Chicago with their innovative coffee accessories, winning the People’s Choice Award for Best New Product. The winning product, the Squeakly Alsa, is a unique bottomless portafilter attachment that uses a frozen steel ball for immediate espresso chilling. Other products introduced include the Hom aroma-dispensing device, the King Eddy WDT device, and the KeptAroma silicone stopper with a degassing valve. Founded by Kullapha “Benz” Sangaunkiat and Apirak “Art” Chamraksin, Squeaky Coffee aims to distribute small, innovative coffee equipment globally. The brand has also won a Good Design Award in Japan and plans to showcase their products in upcoming international coffee events.
