A survey of 2,000 U.S. adults reveals distinct lifestyle and personality traits associated with morning beverage choices, dividing participants into coffee or matcha drinkers. Matcha enthusiasts are generally early risers, adventurous, and prefer outdoor activities, with a tendency to be ambiverts. They also work out more frequently and are likely to be fire or water zodiac signs. In contrast, coffee drinkers tend to wake up later, enjoy indoor activities, and exhibit more introverted characteristics. Both groups, however, share a passion for being their own baristas and staying informed about new trends, with matcha drinkers showing a greater engagement with social media and reading. Despite their differences, both enjoy social weekends and spend similar amounts on their beverage of choice annually. This insightful survey was conducted by OnePoll for Califia Farms.
