Yoder’s Restaurant Launches New Coffee and Pie Venture

Yoder’s Restaurant & Amish Village, a beloved Sarasota dining spot, is expanding with Yoder’s Pie Craft Coffee Company, set to open in February 2025. This new venture will serve locally roasted coffee alongside mini versions of their famous pies. The name "Pie Craft" reflects the restaurant's connection to the Pinecraft neighborhood, known for its Amish and Mennonite community. The first phase will feature a food trailer with indoor seating and an outdoor garden area. Future plans include redesigning the deli market into a coffee and dessert shop, while still offering baked goods and take-home meals. A coffee roasting room with viewing windows is also planned for 2025, enhancing the customer experience.

This expansion celebrates Yoder's 50th anniversary, marking a significant milestone for the establishment. Over the years, Yoder’s has transformed from a small eatery to a multifaceted venue known for its hearty Amish dishes and exceptional pies. The idea for the coffee shop has been in the works for years, with renewed interest sparking its development.

This new venture is important as it shows Yoder's commitment to growth and community engagement, providing a fresh space for locals and visitors to enjoy coffee and desserts. It also highlights the restaurant's dedication to quality and tradition while adapting to modern tastes.
