The Specialty Coffee Association has unveiled the schedule for the 2025 World Coffee Championships, promising an exciting year that spans three continents and four cities. The year will kick off with the World Roasting Championship in Houston, Texas, at the end of April during the Specialty Coffee Expo. Next, the World Brewers Cup will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, as part of the World of Coffee event in May. The grand finale will occur in Geneva, Switzerland, in June, where the World Latte Art Championship, World Coffee in Good Spirits, World Cezve/Ibrik Championship, and World Cup Tasters Championship will be held. This global tour aims to showcase coffee excellence, craftsmanship, and innovation to a wider audience. According to Yannis Apostolopoulos, CEO of the Specialty Coffee Association, these events are part of their mission to elevate the coffee industry. Coffee enthusiasts are encouraged to prepare for a year of unparalleled coffee experiences.
