Westrock Coffee Opens Cutting-Edge Manufacturing Plant in Conway

Westrock Coffee officially opened its new $315 million, 570,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Conway ahead of schedule. The state-of-the-art facility, previously a Kimberly-Clark factory, has been revamped to include the latest in production capabilities, robotics, and end-to-end automation. This vertically integrated plant will allow Westrock to warehouse, roast, grind, process, taste-test, innovate, and distribute its products globally. According to Scott Ford, CEO and co-founder of Westrock Coffee, the opening signifies a critical milestone for the company, reinforcing its position as a leader in beverage innovation and sustainability. The plant will serve existing clients and enable Westrock to scale quickly to meet growing industry demands. Additionally, a new 530,000 sq. ft. warehousing and distribution center located two miles away will enhance distribution efficiency. The facility also underscores Westrock’s commitment to sustainability and responsible sourcing, impacting customers, farmer partners, and the communities they serve. Westrock Coffee's stock (NASDAQ: WEST) closed at $9.73 per share on Thursday, with a trading range of $6.88 to $11.91 over the past year.
