Valkyrie Coffee Roasters is set to open a new location in Sugar Loaf on September 6. This expansion comes after the success of its downtown Chester shop. The new site is located in the historic train station building, previously home to Anne Marie’s Deli. Proprietor Dakota Rudolph purchased the property from Ed Mullins, who renovated the famous caboose on the premises. While the caboose will initially serve as storage, Rudolph envisions future commercial use.
• The new café will operate daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Customers can enjoy classic coffee drinks like espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos.
• Plans for brunch offerings are in the works.
• A grand opening celebration is planned for late September.
This expansion is significant for Rudolph, who has built strong ties within the community. His commitment to sourcing beans directly from farms in 11 countries sets him apart in the coffee industry. This move not only enhances local coffee culture but also showcases Rudolph's dedication to quality and community engagement.
