Valentine Coffee Roasters is set to open its third location on Milwaukee's East Side this fall, bringing its signature coffee and espresso drinks, teas, and seasonal beverage specials to the neighborhood. The new cafe, located on Downer Avenue, will feature a similar menu to its Third Ward location, including breakfast and lunch items from local bakeries. Owner Robb Kashevarof saw an opportunity in the location and is excited to serve the students of UWM and the East Side neighborhood. The historic building, once part of the Panther Bookstore, has undergone a year-long restoration process, and Valentine will complete additional updates before opening. This expansion marks a significant growth for the company, which already has two existing cafes and a roastery in Wauwatosa. As the East Side continues to experience a surge in new businesses, Valentine's arrival is sure to be a welcome addition to the community.
