Third Wave Coffee, a prominent coffee-first quick service restaurant (QSR) brand, has opened a new outlet at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, marking its second location within the airport and its eighth store in Hyderabad. This expansion is part of the brand's broader strategy to make quality coffee accessible to travelers. Rajat Luthra, CEO of Third Wave Coffee, expressed enthusiasm about offering their unique coffee experience to airport passengers, ensuring that they can enjoy their favorite brews regardless of their travel status. The brand now operates in four major airport locations: Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Lucknow. Founded in 2017 by Sushant Goel, Ayush Bathwal, and Anirudh Sharma, Third Wave Coffee has grown impressively from a single store in Bengaluru to over 100 outlets across India. The company, run by Heisetasse Beverages Private Ltd., secured $35 million in Series C funding in September 2023, enabling further expansion, supply chain enhancement, and technological advancements.
