The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Unveils Four New Summer Drinks for 2024

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has expanded its menu in the US for summer 2024 with four new beverages, blending the textures and flavors of boba pearls and matcha. Following a successful pilot phase in 2023, the nationwide launch offers these new drinks until August 20, 2024. The Iced Brown Sugar Latte with Boba combines caramelized brown sugar, signature espresso, and brown sugar boba pearls, while the Iced Ceylon Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Boba features fragrant iced Ceylon Black Tea with caramelized brown sugar and boba pearls. The chain is also promoting matcha's health benefits and visual appeal with two new layered drinks: the Iced Matcha Cream Strawberry Latte and the Iced Matcha Cream Mango Latte, which blend matcha tea with fruit purée, whole milk, and matcha cream cap. Dee Hadley, head of marketing for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Americas, expressed excitement about the new offerings that aim to deliver a unique blend of taste and texture. In March 2024, the company also announced the opening of a drive-through-only store in Rialto, California.
