Society Coffee Bar in Somerset, known for its dual identity as a coffee shop by day and cocktail lounge by night, is set to elevate its atmosphere with the introduction of a stylish outdoor patio. Owners Debra and Keith Viveiros are adding a 1500-square-foot patio space featuring tables surrounding a large fire pit, enclosed by white oak walls to extend the indoor ambiance outdoors. The new patio will retain the bar’s sleek, modern aesthetic, complete with design elements like octogen tiles. Keith Viveiros hopes the new space will encourage patrons to stay longer and bridge the gap between coffee drinkers and cocktail lovers. The patio, expected to open by the end of September, will also see an expanded food menu and acoustic music performances before 10 pm. This expansion aims to enhance the overall customer experience, making Society Coffee Bar an even more appealing spot for socializing in Somerset.
