Snapdragon Coffee + Social - Jersey City's Hidden Gem Gets Hollywood Spotlight

Snapdragon Coffee + Social, a unique coffee shop in Jersey City's McGinley Square, has recently gained fame as a filming location for the Bob Dylan biopic "A Complete Unknown" starring Timothee Chalamet. Owned by Buzz Pasdar, a long-time Jersey City resident and entrepreneur, Snapdragon has become a beloved community spot since its opening in 2018. Buzz's diverse background in the restaurant industry and other businesses, like The Bike Hub, has helped him create a vibrant and welcoming space. The interior, transformed from an old uniform factory, features historic exposed brick, high tin ceilings, and eclectic decor sourced from garage sales and curbside finds, giving it a unique charm. Snapdragon also serves as an event venue, hosting everything from art shows to weddings. The menu, designed by Buzz, offers creative coffee blends from South America and Africa, as well as a variety of food items, making it a local favorite. Snapdragon is open daily and offers both indoor and outdoor seating.
