Writer-director Sidney Bryant Sr. and ONE Compelling Picture (OCP) have announced the cast for their upcoming films, "The Last Call – Because You Answered" and "The Voice – When Eyes Can’t See," set to premiere on Amazon Prime and Tubi in 2025. "The Last Call" features Sonya Moore-Roper as Athena Gracen, who, after a car accident, connects deeply with 911 dispatcher Cathy Willows, played by Dustilynn Vaughan. Their encounter underscores themes of faith and divine intervention. Production starts June 13, 2024, in Douglas, Georgia. "The Voice" stars Randy Murray and Sidney Bryant Sr., focusing on attorney Jake Lindsey, who, guided by an unknown voice during a mid-flight crisis, discovers the importance of faith. Shooting for this film begins July 1, 2024. Both films mark the third and fourth collaborations between OCP and The Faith and Film Coalition (FFCC), a group dedicated to producing faith-based films with local community involvement. The FFCC, supported by numerous businesses and organizations, aims to reinvest film revenue into local initiatives like the For Coffee initiative, which promotes community solidarity and support. The FFCC continues to grow and is on track to obtain 501c3 status soon.
