SGT. Coffee Co. - Gahanna's New Coffee Shop with a Heart for Veterans

SGT. Coffee Co., a new walk-up coffee shop in Gahanna, Ohio, is now open and supporting veterans. Owned by Ryan and Brandi Sargent, the shop at 106 Short St. has been a long-time dream for the couple. Inspired by years of coffee dates and tours, Ryan, an army veteran, and Brandi decided to create a business that not only serves quality coffee but also gives back to the veteran community. Each month, they plan to sponsor a local veteran nonprofit. The couple has also introduced a special drink named Easy42, in honor of Brandi’s late cousin who served in Afghanistan; 10% of the proceeds from this caramel latte will go to the Gary Sinise Foundation. Set up in a converted mobile pop-up camper, SGT. Coffee Co. offers a variety of beverages and will soon add vegan and gluten-free pastries from Madelyn’s of Granville. Operating hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
