Saudia Launches 'Saudi Coffee Cup' Initiative to Celebrate National Culture

Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has introduced an innovative "Saudi Coffee Cup" initiative in partnership with the Culinary Arts Commission. This initiative aims to enhance the travel experience for business class guests by offering a collection of handcrafted cups that celebrate the cultural heritage of Saudi Arabia. The cups, designed to represent the country's main regions, will be a part of Saudia's traditional welcome service alongside Saudi coffee and dates. Each cup features unique designs: the central region's cup showcases clay buildings and palm trees, the western region's cup highlights the Taifi rose and coastal elements, the eastern region's cup is adorned with Calligonum Al Arta, the northern region's cup features olive trees, and the southern region's cup displays Assiri patterns. Starting July 7, 2024, these cups will be available on select routes, with plans to expand to all routes. This initiative aligns with Saudia's ongoing efforts to promote national identity and culture, building on their collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and their sponsorship of prominent cultural events.
