San Francisco Bay Coffee Taps Cutwater as Creative and Media Agency

Ethically-sourced coffee brand San Francisco Bay Coffee, owned by the Rogers Family Company, has appointed Cutwater, with offices in San Francisco and New York City, as its new creative and media agency of record following an extensive review process. Cutwater will oversee the development of the brand's communications strategy, including brand platform development, creative content, production, and overall strategy. The agency will manage campaigns across various platforms such as OLV, social media, display, and out-of-home advertising, covering the company’s entire product range from commercially compostable OneCup pods to whole bean and ground coffee.

The U.S. coffee market is anticipated to grow significantly, and San Francisco Bay Coffee aims to expand its presence nationally by leveraging Cutwater’s expertise. The brand is renowned for its ethical practices, ensuring farmers receive a profit above production costs and investing in sustainable and environmentally friendly initiatives. The upcoming campaign will highlight the brand’s 40-year history and its commitment to social and environmental responsibility. Cutwater's founder, Chuck McBride, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing the brand’s dedication to supporting coffee communities globally. The first campaign under this new collaboration is expected to launch later this year.

San Francisco Bay Coffee's marketing director, Jennifer Greenberg, expressed confidence in Cutwater's ability to elevate the brand while maintaining its unique identity, citing the agency’s track record with challenger brands. This appointment adds to Cutwater’s recent success in securing the creative agency of record title for MoneyGram International.
