Rwandan coffee has gained significant attention in the global specialty market, achieving a remarkable price of $88.18 per kilogram during the Best of Rwanda 2025 auction. This price is nearly 14 times higher than the local market rate, showcasing the quality and potential of Rwandan coffee. The auction, organized by the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB), featured 20 exceptional coffee lots selected from over 300 entries. The winning lot from K-Organics Ltd not only broke last year’s record but also contributed to over $302,000 in total revenue from the sale of 16 metric tons of premium coffee.
