Rudy Giuliani, the former Mayor of New York City, has launched a new coffee line, Rudy Coffee, aiming to alleviate his staggering debt, which stands at approximately $148 million. Despite the launch, experts doubt this venture will significantly ease his financial troubles. The Post enlisted two coffee experts, Steven Colten and Glenn Garnes, to evaluate the coffee, which is priced at $29.99 per bag and made from organic 100% Arabica beans from Honduras. While the experts acknowledged the quality of the coffee, they did not find it exceptional enough to stand out in the competitive market of celebrity-branded products. Giuliani's coffee, although not deemed inferior, lacks the distinctiveness needed to carve a niche. Additionally, the recent legal and financial hurdles, including a $148 million judgment for defamation and a bankruptcy case dismissal, compound the challenge of making this coffee venture a financial savior for Giuliani. He has secured a deal with Miami-based Burke Brands, earning 80% of the net profits from each sale, but the crowded coffee industry might not yield the revenue he desperately needs.
