Hyundai and Kia have introduced the latest iteration of their office-friendly delivery robot, DAL-e Delivery, boasting the ability to transport up to 16 cups of coffee. This robot incorporates autonomous driving, face identification, and a Plug & Drive (PnD) modular system for enhanced navigation and obstacle avoidance. With a top speed of 1.2 meters/second, DAL-e Delivery is designed to operate efficiently in complex environments such as offices and malls. The robot's robust suspension and increased cargo capacity make it suitable for delivering both food and parcels up to 10 kg. Set to debut in a smart office space in South Korea, DAL-e Delivery represents a significant step toward streamlining delivery services in various settings.
