Chris and Kelsey Olson have transformed a former bakery into Reverence Coffee at 419 Richland Street, East Peoria. They opened their doors on May 15, 2024. The shop offers a cozy atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. Specialty drinks like the blackberry lemon espresso tonic and the orange ube latte are already popular. The menu includes a variety of coffees, teas, hot chocolate, doughnuts, and unique treats like crookies—a croissant filled with cookie dough. The Olsons aim to create a community hub where locals can relax and enjoy quality beverages in a stylish setting.
