ReAnimator Coffee Expands to Mt. Airy with New Location

ReAnimator Coffee, a Philadelphia-based coffee roaster, is set to open its sixth location in Mt. Airy by March. Co-owners Mark Capriotti and Mark Corpus started their journey in 2010, roasting coffee in a basement. Their first retail store opened in Fishtown in 2013, and since then, they've grown to five locations across various neighborhoods in Philadelphia. The new shop will be situated at 6509 Germantown Ave, near other local businesses, fostering a community feel.

• The owners emphasize a neighborhood focus, avoiding high-traffic areas like Center City.

• ReAnimator specializes in lighter roasted coffee to highlight the unique flavors of the beans.

• The menu features specialty lattes, seasonal drinks, and single-origin coffee pour-overs.

• The new location aims to be a welcoming spot for locals in Chestnut Hill, Mt. Airy, and Germantown.

This expansion reflects a growing trend of local businesses prioritizing community engagement. By establishing themselves in residential areas, ReAnimator Coffee aims to create a neighborhood hub that enhances local culture and builds customer loyalty.
