Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Opens First D.C. Area Cafe in Vienna

Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Company has launched its first brick-and-mortar location in the D.C. area at 124 Maple Avenue West in Vienna, Virginia. Officially opening on May 21, the 1,900-square-foot cafe offers a range of hot and cold beverages, including traditional Yemeni coffee drinks, teas, and smoothies, alongside freshly baked pastries. The cafe aims to provide a modern and chic environment where customers can enjoy a calming atmosphere. Qamaria, which started in Dearborn, Michigan, has grown through franchising since its first cafe in 2021, now boasting 16 locations across multiple states, with plans for further expansion. The Vienna location signifies a significant milestone for the brand, marking its commitment to offering unique Yemeni coffee experiences beyond its initial markets. A grand opening event with local leaders and light refreshments is anticipated soon, although the exact date remains unannounced. The cafe operates from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
