Procession Coffee Hosts Epic Latte Art Throwdown at New Location

Procession Coffee, originally a cart and now a beloved coffeehouse in Denver, is expanding its presence in Zeppelin Station with a new, sleek coffee bar. Owners Joshua Bosarge and Stephen Ashley, lifelong friends and Houston natives, are celebrating this milestone with a grand latte art throwdown event. Scheduled for June 27, aligning with DJ Screw Day, the event will see 32 baristas, including Ashley, compete in a single-elimination tournament. The competition will feature rounds with unique challenges, such as pouring with oat milk, and will be emceed by Bosarge, who will also play music from DJ Screw and other Houston rappers. The event aims to foster community among baristas from different shops and is open to the public, with food vendors and a bar offering special cocktails. Prizes include a custom trophy, $500 cash, and various raffles. The event also features $100 flash tattoos, with a special offer of free daily coffee for life for those who get the Procession logo tattooed visibly.
