Pret A Manger, the popular sandwich chain, has announced it will start selling its coffee on Amazon from May 18. This marks the first time Pret’s coffee, including its house blend and single-origin beans from Peru, will be available for customers to brew at home. The move comes as Pret reopens more than 100 of its UK outlets for takeaway and delivery, implementing strict social distancing and safety measures. This expansion into retail is part of Pret's broader strategy to adapt to the new market conditions following the UK-wide coronavirus lockdown. The company, which traditionally sold over 80 million cups of coffee annually in-store, is exploring additional product offerings for retail sale.
