PJ's Coffee, a New Orleans-based coffee chain, has opened its third location in Maryland, situated in Linthicum Heights, Anne Arundel County. The grand opening event featured a Moonbounce, giveaways, including free samples, and a chance to win free coffee for a year, drawing in a crowd eager to experience PJ's unique offerings. The chain is celebrated for its beignets, a deep-fried pastry popular in Louisiana, and its special cold-drip iced coffee, which is reportedly "two-thirds less acidic" than traditional iced coffee. In addition to these specialties, PJ's Coffee provides a variety of caffeinated drinks, baked goods, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and grab-and-go items. Franchisee Joseph Shojamanesh expressed excitement about bringing the authentic Southern atmosphere and PJ's commitment to warm hospitality to Linthicum Heights. The new location joins two others in Silver Spring and Bowie, with another set to open in Camp Springs, Prince George's County. Operating hours for the Linthicum Heights location are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
