Pepsi Café - The Carbonated Coffee Hybrid You Didn't Know You Needed

Pepsi's new coffee-infused soda, Pepsi Café, offers a unique twist on the afternoon pick-me-up. Available in Original and Vanilla flavors, it blends arabica bean extract with classic Pepsi cola. The result is a cold, caffeinated beverage with about twice the caffeine of regular soda. Pepsi Café promises a coffee-meets-cola experience, appealing to both soda and cold brew fans. I sampled both flavors and found that the Original has a stronger coffee aftertaste, while the Vanilla is reminiscent of cream soda. Pepsi Café's April 2020 release is set for a limited eight-week run. This isn't Pepsi's first coffee cola attempt, but it aligns well with evolving consumer tastes. With Coca-Cola Energy also entering the market, the coffee cola competition heats up. Pepsi's recent innovations, like Pepsi Nitro and Sparkling Rosé, show its commitment to pushing beverage boundaries.
