Indy’s Animal Care Services (IACS) and Coal Yard Coffee are teaming up for Paws & Pour, an adoption event happening this Saturday and Sunday in Indianapolis. Attendees can meet adoptable dogs and even take one home without paying an adoption fee. The event also features live music and specially themed drinks like the “Pupper Nutter” and the “Rescue Pup” for both humans and their furry friends. IACS Deputy Director Kelly Diamond hopes the event will raise awareness about pet adoption and responsible pet ownership. Even if you’re not planning to adopt, you can still support by fostering pets in need or donating items such as pet food, toys, and blankets. The event will be held at Coal Yard Coffee on South Ritter Avenue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, making it a perfect opportunity to enjoy some coffee while supporting a good cause.
