Onyx Coffee Lab Rises with Award-Winning Chocolate and New Studio Space

Onyx Coffee Lab has added to its accolades with two award-winning chocolate bars. The Rogers-based company also launched 2nd Street Studio, a 4,196-square-foot space for shooting promotional content. This studio will serve as a hub for creatives, film crews, and photographers. Terroir by Onyx, the company’s chocolate brand, won at the 2024 Good Food Awards. The winning bars include Chai Milk Chocolate + Pink Peppercorn and 69% Madagascar Dark Chocolate. Preston Stewart, Onyx’s director of chocolate, expressed pride in the recognition. Onyx plans to relocate its chocolate factory and add ice cream to its offerings. The new studio, owned by J Allen Investments, features multiple kitchen sets, a soundproof podcast booth, and an LED wall. Jon Allen, co-owner of Onyx, aims to foster creative opportunities in Arkansas with this new venture.
