A new coffee program has launched at Novel Strand Brewery, bringing fresh caffeine options to the community. This cafe opened in late June, following the departure of Queen City Coffee, which had occupied the space. Owners Chantel Columna and Tamir Danon are dedicated to creating a quality coffee experience that reflects their passion and background. The cafe operates separately from the brewery, serving coffee from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., while the brewery opens later in the day.
• The cafe features espresso drinks made with beans from Color Roasters.
• Pastries are sourced from local bakery Rebel Bread.
• Future plans include introducing Dominican coffee, honoring Columna's heritage.
• A liquor license is in progress to offer wine and cocktails soon.
This new venture matters because it enriches the local food and drink scene. It allows the owners to share their culture and passion for coffee, creating a unique experience for customers. The addition of alcohol options will further enhance the offerings, making Novel Strand a versatile destination.
