New Orleans Coffeehouse Honors Fallen Soldiers with Dedicated Table

PJ’s Coffee, a New Orleans-born chain, will reserve a special table across its 180 locations throughout Memorial Day weekend. This table honors U.S. military members who made the ultimate sacrifice. The table will feature symbols like an empty chair, a white cloth, a red rose, a yellow ribbon, a slice of lemon, a pinch of salt, a lighted candle, and an inverted glass. These items collectively represent the soldiers' sacrifice and the hope for their return. President of PJ’s Coffee, and U.S. Army veteran, Peter Boylan, emphasizes the company's commitment to veterans and active military personnel. PJ's Coffee also offers initiatives like the Veteran Franchise Giveaway, awarding a free franchise license to a veteran each year. The company, founded in 1978, prides itself on its military roots and superior coffee.
