Plans are underway to transform a closed Speedway gas station in Orange Park into a new development called Robin’s Nest Plaza. This project will feature a fast-food restaurant and a drive-thru coffee shop, both designed to enhance the local dining scene. The proposed site is located at 609 Blanding Blvd., close to Robin Road.
• The fast-food restaurant will cover 2,285 square feet, while the coffee shop will be 986 square feet, each equipped with drive-thru lanes.
• The development is currently under review by Clay County and the St. Johns River Water Management District.
• Cole Valley Partners, based in Portland, Oregon, is leading the development, known for its work with Dutch Bros coffee and Chipotle.
• The area already has several other drive-thru coffee options, indicating a strong market demand.
This project is significant as it aims to revitalize a previously unused space, providing more dining options for residents. With the rise of drive-thru services, Robin’s Nest Plaza could attract more visitors and contribute to the local economy.
