New Ethiopian Cafe Opens in Rose City Park

A new cafe, Milki Ethiopian Cafe, has recently opened in Rose City Park, taking over the former Yigebe Coffee location. This cafe is in soft opening mode and will officially launch on October 25. It offers a variety of drinks, pastries, and plans to serve Ethiopian food soon. The owner named the cafe after his six-month-old daughter, Milki, which means "fortune" in Amharic.

• The menu includes hot and iced drinks, such as drip coffee, espresso, chai, and unique options like Flu Tea and Ethiopian Spice Tea.

• A standout drink is the Ginger Lime Tonic, made with fresh ginger juice, lime, and tonic water, served hot or iced.

• Pastries are available, and Ethiopian food will be introduced at the grand opening.

• The cafe maintains a similar interior to Yigebe Coffee, with plans to remove the previous branding.

This cafe adds a new flavor to the neighborhood, providing locals with coffee and a taste of Ethiopian cuisine. The community is excited for the reopening, as it preserves the cafe culture and offers new dining options.
