Cole Perfetti, a recent graduate from Atlantic Cape's Academy of Culinary Arts, has launched Surf Road Coffee Bar & Beach Bowls in Historic Smithville. The grand opening on June 8 featured notable attendees including ACA faculty and local officials. Perfetti, the class valedictorian and a third-generation entrepreneur, attributes his success to the lessons learned from his peers and educators at the Academy. Raised in a family steeped in the coffee business, Perfetti fondly recalls childhood memories of coffee bags and early caffeine experiences. His new venture is a testament to his culinary education and entrepreneurial spirit. ACA Director Joseph Sheridan expressed pride in Perfetti’s achievements and his continued inspiration to the community. In addition to managing his new business, Perfetti plans to pursue further education in art at the Rhode Island School of Design this fall, showcasing his diverse interests and dedication to personal growth.
