Nestlé has launched Nescafé Espresso Concentrate, targeting the growing trend of cold coffee consumption among millennials and Gen Z. The product is available in Sweet Vanilla and Espresso Black flavors, initially released in Australia and on Chinese e-commerce platforms. It addresses the increasing demand for home-prepared, barista-style cold coffees, especially as coffee consumption patterns evolve with 73% of Gen Z (ages 18-24) drinking iced coffee weekly. This strategic move by Nestlé aims to capture and retain the younger demographic by adapting to their preferences for cold coffee, even in traditional hot coffee markets.
