Philipp Navratil, currently the Head of Nestlé’s Coffee Strategic Business Unit, is set to become the new CEO of Nespresso on July 1, 2024. He will be taking over from Guillaume Le Cunff, who will move on to lead Nestlé’s European division. Navratil has a rich background in the coffee industry, having significantly contributed to the growth of the Nescafé brand in Mexico. His appointment is part of a broader leadership reshuffle at Nestlé, with Le Cunff replacing Marco Settembri, who is retiring after over three decades with the company. Le Cunff’s tenure at Nespresso was marked by efforts in geographic expansion, sustainability initiatives like the Reviving Origins programme, and the launch of home-compostable capsules.
