MorningRX - From Preschool Teacher to Coffee Ambulance Queen

Cara Benton, a former preschool teacher, pivoted to entrepreneurship by launching MorningRX, a unique coffee truck operating out of a repurposed ambulance. Inspired by the pandemic to retire from her teaching career, Benton, along with her chef husband, sought a vehicle for their mobile café and found the perfect fit in an ambulance due to its power capabilities and sanitization ease. After purchasing and retrofitting the vehicle, Benton began serving her handcrafted espresso drinks in Denver on June 14, 2023. The cleverly designed interior maximizes space and functionality, while her menu features a variety of espresso beverages, seasonal lattes, and handmade syrups and whipped creams, all for under $6. MorningRX also offers locally sourced pastries and breakfast burritos, along with dog-friendly Puppaccinos. Benton's personable customer service, rooted in her hospitality background, has cultivated a loyal customer base. She aims to continue serving the Denver community reliably, rain or shine, and is excited about future collaborations and opportunities. Additionally, Benton's pride in her family's achievements, including her competitive skier son, fuels her motivation and passion for her business.
