Malaysia's Ipoh White Coffee Makes Global Waves

Malaysia's beloved Ipoh white coffee has achieved significant international recognition, ranking 10th in the TasteAtlas list of the Top 39 Coffees in the World. This accolade has placed Ipoh on the map for coffee enthusiasts globally. The Chang Jiang International Sdn Bhd, one of the earliest producers of Ipoh white coffee, traces its origins back to 1988. The unique preparation method involves roasting coffee beans with margarine and using a special blend of condensed milk, evaporated milk, and margarine during brewing. This gives the coffee its creamy and slightly salty flavor. The success and popularity of Chang Jiang's white coffee have led to the expansion of their operations and the opening of multiple cafe outlets across Ipoh, serving a diverse clientele and even expanding internationally.
