Living caffeine-free has significantly improved my life, providing better sleep and reducing feelings of agitation and anger. Previously, consuming caffeine led to severe anxiety, exemplified during social interactions where even a mistakenly caffeinated drink could cause distress. Now, opting for water instead of caffeinated beverages during meetings has made them less excitable but more relaxing. The absence of caffeine has also contributed to healthier, more hydrated skin and a calmer mental state, reinforcing my decision to stay off caffeine, inspired by Nell Frizzell's article. Additionally, it's crucial to avoid matcha as a caffeine alternative, as it contains even higher caffeine levels due to its composition.
