Leon, a UK-based fast food chain, is set to launch its new coffee subscription service, "Roast Rewards," priced at £25 per month, undercutting Pret's similar service by £5. Leon's subscription includes up to five hot drinks daily and offers a 20% discount on breakfast and lunch items, excluding meal deals. Additionally, subscribers benefit from an integrated loyalty scheme that allows them to earn points on purchases. Leon's managing director, Mac Plumpton, hailed it as the UK's most affordable coffee subscription, emphasizing the value and quality it brings to consumers. This move comes as Leon seeks to expand its market presence against Pret, which has a larger footprint with nearly 500 UK locations and has successfully operated its coffee subscription since September 2020.
