Salvatore Silvio's Grand Coffee Company is set to open a new location in Shawnee, Kansas, taking over the former Scooter’s Coffee site. This marks the company's first venture into Johnson County, expanding from its original Kansas City spot. The café, which will occupy a 1,500-square-foot space equipped with a drive-thru, plans to offer craft coffee, breakfast, and lunch items with a unique Italian twist, reflecting Silvio's family heritage. Anticipated opening hours are from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, with extended hours on weekends. The menu will include specialty drinks like honey nut cheerio lattes and blueberry cold brews, along with Italian-inspired dishes such as a breakfast panini with tomato Alfredo sauce. This expansion not only brings new flavors to Shawnee but also continues a family tradition of food and drink.
