Gipa Kofi Shop, a new outdoor coffee vendor in Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province, is gaining popularity among locals and travelers alike. Located on Sitani Street, this shop serves coffee made from freshly roasted beans sourced from Gipa Roasted Coffee. The shop operates from a tent at Solomonia Menz's residence, where she uses a sophisticated coffee maker with a five-liter capacity. The coffee, which can be customized with varying sugar and milk preferences, is complemented by affordable treats like doughnuts and soft cakes. Open from the afternoon until 10-11 PM from Wednesday to Saturday, Gipa Kofi Shop has become a hub for taxi drivers and residents. The owner, a mother of three, plans to expand the business into the town area to make locally produced and processed coffee more accessible.
