Good Sense Coffee owner Ian Boyle has made a successful bid to purchase the historic Uptown Coffeehouse, ensuring the beloved spot will remain a coffee haven. Uptown's closure was announced by its current owner, Lorna Brennan, but Boyle's timely offer means a smooth transition. Boyle, an experienced roaster and mobile café operator, plans to open a Good Sense Coffee location there, preserving the site's coffee culture. Though the sale isn’t finalized yet, Boyle is optimistic about the future. The community will soon witness a blend of old charm and new vigor in the same cherished space.
