A new initiative, the Center for Circular Economy in Coffee (C4CEC), launched to keep 34-39 million tons of coffee by-products out of the waste stream. This platform aims to bring together producers, businesses, and researchers to drive sustainable practices in the coffee sector. Led by international groups like ITC, ICO, and UNIDO, and supported by Italian institutions, C4CEC calls for memberships to innovate and disseminate circular economy approaches. The goal is to create economic opportunities while addressing environmental concerns. Organizations can apply online until May 31.
