Florida Coffee Chain Expands to Lansing Near MSU Campus

A popular coffee chain from Florida is set to open its first location in the Lansing area, specifically near Michigan State University, in the spring of 2026. Foxtail Coffee has signed a lease for a 2,485 square foot space at 431 E. Grand River Ave. This will be the company's seventh location in Michigan and the largest one yet. The design of the coffee shop aims to cater to students, providing study areas and a cozy atmosphere for socializing. Foxtail Coffee offers a range of specialty drinks, breakfast items, and pastries. The store plans to hire around 15 employees and will feature a community-inspired mural. Construction will be managed by First Companies, while Dixon Architecture will oversee the design. The opening of this location reflects Foxtail's commitment to creating a space that fosters connection and productivity among students and residents alike.
