A new Flamingo coffee, bar, and café is set to open in Hanania Place, following the city's approval of a permit for the project on February 4. This expansion comes after a grant from the Downtown Investment Authority (DIA) to Flamingo Coffee Roasters LLC, allowing them to create a vibrant 1,781-square-foot venue. The new location aims to replicate the success of the original Flamingo in Murray Hill, which offers a mix of coffee, beer, and light meals.
• The build-out will cost approximately $157,950, with Vantage Contracting Inc. handling construction.
• The café will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and until midnight on weekends.
• The menu will feature breakfast items, pastries, sandwiches, and a selection of coffee and alcoholic beverages.
• Projected revenue for the first year is $460,404, expected to rise to $575,505 in the second year.
This development is significant for the Southbank area, enhancing local dining options and contributing to the ongoing revitalization efforts by the Hanania family. The café aims to attract both residents and visitors, fostering a community space for socializing and relaxation.
