Coffee is the second-most consumed beverage in the United States, right after water. A significant 70% of adults enjoy coffee, with 62% drinking at least one cup daily. The average coffee drinker has three cups a day. For many, including myself, the first morning cup is a cherished ritual. We often use the pour-over method at home, savoring a cup together before the day begins. However, busy mornings can make this ritual challenging. Here are five ways to grab your coffee on the go. Drive-through coffee spots, like The Human Bean, offer quick service starting at 5 a.m., with more drive-throughs coming soon. Traditional coffee shops, such as Timber Towne Coffee, open at 7 a.m. and offer call-ahead options. Local restaurants, including McDonald’s, The Dizzy Hen, and Subway, provide early morning coffee choices. Convenience stores like Jona’s Market and Philomath Market are also good stops. Lastly, making coffee at home and taking it to-go is always an option, although local spots remain a frequent choice.
