Located at 2462 5th Ave S, The Chelsea has been more than just a cafe; it has been a vibrant hub for community gatherings, local markets, and unique tea time experiences. Known for its fabulous English cottage vibe, the interior and courtyard offered a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a popular spot for friends and family, especially during the winter and spring seasons.
In response to a community member asking for the closure date, The Chelsea team confirmed, "Sunday 6/16 will be it. 😢 Then we will be packing and selling furniture. A new business is set to open after us. I hope it’s good...Sunday 6/16 for coffee. Then we may be selling furniture, etc. for a few days."
As a bittersweet farewell, the cafe will be selling its art and furniture, giving fans an opportunity to take home a piece of their cherished local spot. The community is encouraged to visit The Chelsea before its final day to show appreciation for all it has contributed to St. Pete.
