Kellanova is branching out its beloved Eggo brand into the coffee market through a collaboration with Two Rivers Coffee, launching Eggo Coffee in mid-August. The new product will come in the Keurig K-Cup format, featuring five enticing flavors: Maple Syrup Eggo, Vanilla Eggo Coffee, Cinnamon Toast Eggo, Blueberry Eggo, and Chocolate Chip Eggo. This move aligns with Kellanova's strategy to grow its business by leveraging collaborations for its staple brands. The nostalgic taste of Eggo waffles combined with a caffeine boost is designed to appeal to consumers who fondly remember their childhood breakfasts. The coffee market, valued at $93 billion and projected to grow steadily, presents a lucrative opportunity for Eggo to reinforce its brand identity beyond waffles. This isn't Eggo's first venture into new categories, having previously launched products like Eggo Brunch in a Jar Sippin’ Cream. The at-home coffee space is competitive, but Kellanova aims to capture consumer interest with this innovative and nostalgic offering.
