Dutch Bros Coffee Expands

The popular Oregon-based coffee chain, Dutch Bros Coffee, is set to open its seventh location in Northeast Florida, with a 950-square-foot drive-thru kiosk proposed for a 0.52-acre parcel at 11647 San Jose Blvd. in Mandarin. This new location will feature a double drive-thru and a walk-up service window, but no indoor or outdoor seating, consistent with the chain's typical design. Dutch Bros Coffee has been rapidly expanding across the country, with 876 locations in 17 states as of March 31, 2024, and plans to open at least 150 to 165 new shops this year. The chain's menu features a variety of coffee drinks, energy drinks, teas, and a limited selection of pastries, all made without cooking on-site. With its unique business model and offerings, Dutch Bros Coffee is poised to become a major player in the coffee market. In my opinion, the chain's focus on drive-thru convenience and limited menu options could be a key factor in its success, particularly in today's fast-paced world where consumers are increasingly looking for quick and easy options.
