Dogtown Coffee Teams Up with GRLSWIRL for Honey Lavender Latte

Dogtown Coffee in Los Angeles is collaborating with GRLSWIRL, a female skateboarding collective, to launch the "GRLSWIRL Latte," a honey lavender drink with proceeds supporting the group's initiatives. Starting Thursday, $1 from each latte sold will fund GRLSWIRL's global mentorship programs and group skates. Originating in Venice and Santa Monica, both brands share a community-first approach. GRLSWIRL, founded by Lucy Osinski, emphasizes inclusivity and authenticity, offering a supportive environment for female skaters of all skill levels. The collective has grown from nine members to over 100 in local sessions, with international chapters in cities like Lisbon and Paris. Their Skate Mentorship program extends to diverse communities, including refugee camps and Native American reservations. GRLSWIRL's 501c3, Swirl Foundation, will launch a global skate tour in October, starting in Thailand. The group has also raised significant funds for local charities, embodying the unifying spirit of skateboarding.
