The DMV Chocolate & Coffee Festival is gearing up for its fifth year with exciting changes. After the Dulles Expo Center's conversion into an IKEA, co-founders John and Lindsay Hill quickly secured new venues for their popular festival. The festival will now take place in two locations: Sterling, Virginia, and Boyds, Maryland, on separate weekends in November. This move allows the festival to continue showcasing over 200 small businesses and artisans, while also accommodating thousands of attendees.
• The Virginia festival will be held on Nov. 14-15 at the DTC Expo, a new venue in Dulles Town Center.
• The Maryland edition is scheduled for Nov. 7-8 at the Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse in Boyds.
• Attendees can enjoy a variety of coffees, teas, candles, and hand-crafted chocolates.
• A food drive will be organized in partnership with WGTS 91.9 to support local food banks.
This festival is important as it supports local businesses and fosters community engagement. By finding new venues, the Hills ensure that the festival remains a vibrant part of the local culture. The expansion to two locations also highlights the festival's growth and popularity, promising a delightful experience for all attendees.
